Trainings for Mac NVivo now available

Boston University now offers introductory trainings for the Mac version of NVivo qualitative data analysis software. If you’ve been interested in qualitative data analysis but don’t know where to begin, we’ll show you where to start. We have scheduled trainings on August 12 and August 20 to start; you can sign up via IS&T’s training calendar site. More trainings will come available.

We are still holding Windows intro trainings as before, which you can also sign up for via the training calendar.

Get WiFi at other universities through eduroam

Using the Internet at other colleges and universities will now be easier for the Boston University community. BU recently joined eduroam, a roaming access service for educational communities. Now, if you visit any of a large number of participating institutions, you will find the eduroam wireless network available, and will be able to log on with your BU credentials by following our instructions. You will only need to configure it once.
