Rebecca Lobb, ScD MPH is the Assistant Director of Community Engagement (CE) for Boston University’s Clinical and Translational Research Institute. She has extensive experience in community engaged research collaborations with community-based organizations, public health departments, health care organizations and resident groups to develop sustainable cancer control programs for vulnerable populations.

Prior to her role as Assistant Director of the CE Program, Dr. Lobb developed an independent program of implementation science research at Washington University in St. Louis and was VP of Programs and Research at Family Reach Foundation, a national nonprofit that offers cancer patients financial interventions to minimize the immediate burden and financial distress from cancer treatment. Dr. Lobb oversees and manages all aspects of the CE Program including strategic planning, program administration, budgets, and stakeholder relationships. She works closely with the CE Program Directors and CTSI leadership to ensure that the scope and direction of the CE Program impacts community health in greater Boston and success for renewal.
