Magda Pankowska joined the Center of Excellence in Women’s Health as a Research Data Analyst in May 2020. In this role, she supports multiple research projects under the supervision of Dr. Christine Gunn.

Magda earned both her B.S. in Health Sciences and Master of Public Health (MPH) at Northeastern University. She has a multi-faceted background working in various research, clinical, and non-profit positions. Magda’s previous research experience focused on supporting projects which studied how health and drug-related policies, such as Medicaid expansion and marijuana legalization, impact access to substance use treatment among people at risk or with HIV. Her MPH Capstone project focused on the geographic availability of co-located HIV and Hepatitis C testing services at substance use treatment facilities which offer medications for opioid use disorder.
