Allen Chang, MA
I am a 4th year graduate student in the Brain Behavior and Cognition program here at Boston University. My interests lie in understanding the neural bases of learning in humans. I am particularly interested in how humans learn complex rules (in which behavior are conditional based on if-then dependencies) and simple rules (in which behaviors are linked regardless of condition). My research utilizes fMRI and statistical modeling to explore how activity in the brain shifts during rule learning and how individual differences in brain activity may help explain successful versus unsuccessful learning.
