Transportation

Carbon Free Boston is partnering with Cambridge Systematics to develop a transportation forecasting tool that will help identify ways to reduce dependence on conventional fossil fuel vehicle use. We will examine  the cost and time tradeoffs between different modes of passenger transport including walking, biking, MBTA, and passenger car, and ride hailing services. In addition, the transportation model will also evaluate the potential of electrifying the public, private and freight vehicle fleets.
