CAIR Lab: Collaborative and Integrative Robotics

The Collaborative and Integrative Robotics (CAIR) Laboratory  seeks to create robotic technology to allow humans of all skill and ability levels, as well as their robotic counterparts, to accomplish previously impossible tasks. We are particularly interested in the domains assistive technologies and collaborative robotics. We design new algorithmic and hardware solutions to improve the robot’s ability to gather data, communicate, and act while working intimately with a human.

The CAIR Lab is directed by Prof. Rebecca Khurshid and is part of the Boston University Robotics Lab.
