Melanie Chen


Melanie is a rising junior at the University of California, Davis, but she is from Lexington, Massachusetts. She is majoring in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior, but volunteered as a research assistant at the Bryant Laboratory of Addiction Genetics for the summer to gain more experience and expand her knowledge in Neuroscience. While in Davis, she works at Carstens Lab, which studies the neural mechanisms of pain and itch. After she graduates, she plans to obtain a master’s degree in Pharmacology.
