bioCPS for Engineering Living Cells

The goal of the CPS grant is to create a next-generation Cyber Physical System in which we can engineer populations of bacterial (E.coli) and mammalian (Chinese hamster ovary and human-induced pluripotent stem) cells to form “desired” patterns. We can achieve this through two emerging technologies, Synthetic Biology and Micron-Scale Mobile Robotics.
